I talk to a lot of couples about when and where are the best times and places to get married. By having an "Off Peak" Wedding, you can have a more extravagant wedding and celebration. Your options are endless...
Here in South Australia, October, November and Saturday’s fill up quickly. On the other hand, June and July and Weekdays don’t see much demand. So, what can be said about these “off peak” times?
Did you know?
"Saturday is the unluckiest wedding day, according to English folklore. Funny — it’s the most popular day of the week to marry!"
"In English tradition, Wednesday is considered the “best day” to marry, although Monday is for wealth and Tuesday is for health."
"Here is a thought as to why get married in June?? Life in the 1500's: Most people got married in June because they took their yearly bath in May and were still smelling pretty good by June. However, they were starting to smell, so brides carried a bouquet of flowers to hide the body odor."
